Overview

ImmigraMate ("we", "us", "our", "the app"), developed by Trovyn Tech LLC, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our mobile application. By using ImmigraMate, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

ImmigraMate collects the minimum information needed to deliver its features. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, phone number, geolocation, contacts, or government identification. We do not collect your email address unless you voluntarily provide one in the in-app feedback form (see "Feedback you submit" below). The data we collect or process falls into the following categories: • USCIS receipt numbers — unique case identifiers you enter to track your immigration cases. Stored locally on your device. Sent to our backend server only to query the official USCIS Case Status API on your behalf. • Case status and notes — case status information retrieved from USCIS, plus any notes or nicknames you add. Stored locally on your device. • App settings and preferences — including notification preferences. Stored locally. • Feedback you submit — if you use the in-app "Send Feedback" form, the app sends your message, an optional email address (only if you choose to provide one), a rating, a category, your platform (iOS or Android), and the app version to our backend server. This information is stored so we can review and respond to your feedback. Providing an email address is entirely optional; if you leave it blank, your feedback is submitted without it. • Anonymous purchase identifier — if you upgrade to ImmigraMate Plus, a randomly generated anonymous identifier is created by our subscription management provider (RevenueCat) to track your entitlement. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any personal identity. • Push notification token — if you enable server-side case tracking as an ImmigraMate Plus subscriber, a device-specific push token is stored on our backend server and used solely to send notifications about cases you have chosen to track. The token is deleted when you uninstall the app or revoke notification permissions. • Advertising identifier (free tier only) — if you use the free tier, the Google Mobile Ads SDK accesses your device's advertising identifier in order to display contextual (non-personalized) banner ads. This identifier is processed by Google and is not stored or accessed by us. • Ad interaction data (free tier only) — basic events such as ad impressions and clicks are processed by Google to measure ad performance. This data is not collected or accessed by us directly. ImmigraMate Plus subscribers see no advertisements, and no advertising identifier or ad interaction data is collected from them.

How Your Data Is Used

The information we process is used solely to provide app features: • Receipt numbers are sent to the official USCIS Case Status API to retrieve case status updates. • Case data, notes, and settings are stored locally so you can view and manage your cases. • Feedback you submit is used only to read, understand, and respond to your message and to improve the app. If you provide an email address, we use it solely to reply to you about your feedback. • The anonymous purchase identifier is used to verify your ImmigraMate Plus entitlement and restore purchases across your devices. • Push tokens are used to send you alerts when a case you tracked is updated by USCIS. • Advertising identifier and ad interaction data, in the free tier, are used by Google to deliver and measure ads. We do not enable personalized ad targeting; ads are contextual. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the app's core features. We do not sell your data and have never done so.

Notifications

ImmigraMate keeps you informed about your cases through notifications. These are available on every tier: • Free tier — the app runs an hourly background task on your device that checks your tracked cases and generates on-device notifications for case updates, case milestones, a weekly digest, and Visa Bulletin updates. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device. • ImmigraMate Plus — adds faster server-side push tracking, which monitors your cases on our backend so you can be alerted even when the app is closed, plus Visa Bulletin priority-date alerts. Server-side push tracking is the only notification feature that uses a push token stored on our server.

Device Permissions

Depending on the features you use, ImmigraMate may ask for the following device permissions. Each is optional and requested only at the moment you use the related feature: • Camera and Photo Library — so you can attach a document photo to a case note. Any photos you attach stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. • Face ID / biometric authentication — so you can optionally lock the app behind your device's biometric authentication for added privacy. You can decline or revoke any of these permissions in your device settings; the rest of the app will continue to work.

Third-Party Services

ImmigraMate relies on a small set of trusted third parties to deliver its features. Each one is contractually bound by its own privacy policy: • U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) — the official Case Status API. Receipt numbers are forwarded to USCIS to retrieve case status. • RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. Receives an anonymous user identifier and your purchase history. https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy • Expo Push Notification Service — delivers push notifications for ImmigraMate Plus case alerts. Receives the push token and message content. https://expo.dev/privacy • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — displays banner ads to free-tier users. Processes the device advertising identifier and ad interactions. https://policies.google.com/privacy • Apple App Store / Google Play Store — process your subscription or one-time purchase. Payment data is never seen by us. https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ and https://policies.google.com/privacy • Cloudflare — hosts our backend server, providing security and DDoS protection for case-status requests. https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ • Affiliate partners — ImmigraMate contains affiliate links to third-party legal and financial services, including JustAnswer and an "Ask a Lawyer" partner. These links are routed through an affiliate tracking provider (impact.com) so that referrals can be attributed. ImmigraMate contains affiliate links to third-party legal and financial services. When you tap an affiliate link, you are taken to a website or app operated by an independent third party, and Trovyn Tech LLC may earn a commission if you sign up for or purchase a service there. This comes at no additional cost to you. Once you click through, the third party's own privacy policy governs any information you provide to them; we do not control and are not responsible for their data practices. We do not share your case data, notes, or receipt numbers with these affiliate partners.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with marketers or data brokers. The only data flows out of the app are those listed under "Third-Party Services" above, each of which is necessary to deliver a specific feature you have chosen to use (status checks, push alerts, subscriptions, or ads). Third-party use or disclosure of user information, including any de-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized data, is prohibited beyond what is necessary to deliver the contracted service.

Your Choices and Controls

• You can stop case-status checks at any time by not entering receipt numbers. • You can turn off notifications (including free-tier on-device alerts and ImmigraMate Plus server-side push) at any time by disabling notification permissions in your device settings. If you had server-side push tracking enabled, your push token will be deleted from our server. • You can avoid advertising-related data collection by upgrading to ImmigraMate Plus or by uninstalling the app. • You can manage or cancel your ImmigraMate Plus subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account or Google Play Store account. • You can permanently delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app.

Data Storage and Security

All your case data, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage. Our backend server caches USCIS case status responses temporarily (up to one hour) to reduce redundant API requests, and stores push tokens for ImmigraMate Plus subscribers who have opted in to case-update alerts. The server runs on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure with HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all data in transit. We do not permanently store receipt numbers on our servers. Push tokens are deleted automatically if your device becomes unreachable for an extended period or if our delivery system reports the token as invalid.

Data Retention

• Data on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. • Case-status cache on our servers expires automatically after one hour. • Push tokens for ImmigraMate Plus subscribers are retained while you are an active subscriber and have not disabled notifications. They are removed when your subscription ends, when notifications are disabled, when the app is uninstalled, or when our delivery system reports the token as no longer valid. • Anonymous purchase identifiers are retained by RevenueCat for as long as needed to verify your entitlement and history of purchases. If you stop using the app, your data on your device is removed by uninstalling. We do not retain personally identifiable data on our servers beyond the technical purposes described here.

Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your data at any time: • Remove individual cases using the delete button in the app. • Disable push notifications to remove your push token from our server. • Cancel your ImmigraMate Plus subscription via the App Store or Play Store. • Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data. To request deletion of any temporarily cached data, push token, or anonymous purchase identifier on our servers, email contact@trovyntech.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. You can also visit https://trovyntech.com/contact for additional ways to request data deletion.

The notification will include the nature and scope of the breach, the types of data potentially affected, the steps we are taking to address it, and recommended actions for users.

Transfer of Ownership

If Trovyn Tech LLC undergoes a merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer of assets, we will ensure that the acquiring entity's privacy policies provide protections at least equivalent to those described here. If equivalent protections cannot be maintained, we will notify users through the app and provide an option to export and delete their data before the transition. We will notify users of any change in ownership through an in-app notification at least 30 days before the transfer takes effect.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make changes that materially affect how we collect or share your data, we will: • Display a prominent in-app notification describing the changes • Provide a plain-language summary of what has changed • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page You will have the opportunity to review changes and choose whether to continue using the app under the updated policy.
